Identity & Access
Multi-Factor Authentication & SSO MFA/IAM
A layer that requires a second verification in addition to the password (app approval, hardware key) and provides sign-in to all applications with one identity (SSO). The control that reduces the most risk at the lowest cost.
When you need it
- In every organization; without exception for email, VPN and admin accounts
- If you use cloud applications
- If you will apply for cyber insurance (almost every policy requires it)
When you do not need it
- You may not need a separate product: your M365 / Google Workspace license already includes MFA, so turn it on for all users first. Conditional access may need a higher license tier; check what your current license includes.
The identity provider at the center; all applications connect to it via SSO. Phishing-resistant methods (FIDO2 keys) for admins.
