Email Security EMAIL

A layer that scans inbound and outbound email for phishing, malicious attachments/links, spoofed senders (BEC) and spam. Cloud-based solutions connect to the mailbox via API.

When you need it

• If you run your own Exchange / mail server
• If you have had phishing or account takeover in the last two years
• If your finance team receives payment instructions by email
• If your users receive dozens of external emails a day

When you do not need it

• If the advanced protection features of M365 Business Premium / E5 or Google Workspace are enabled and configured correctly, an extra product is often unnecessary. Configure what you already have first.

For cloud email, API-based (in-mailbox) solutions; for on-premises servers, a gateway in front of MX. SPF, DKIM and DMARC records must be set up whatever product you choose.
